St Luke’s Lodge was honoured at its last regular meeting of the Masonic year on 17th April 2015 by the presence of W. Bro David Maddern, Provincial Grand Charity Steward, who came to present a third Ashlar Award for contributions made so far towards the 2020 Somerset Festival.
This presentation was accompanied by an interesting and detailed explanation of Charity giving in general and for the Festival system in particular, which was appreciated by those present at the Meeting.
The contribution of sufficient funds to successfully achieve a third Ashlar Award during 2015 was also a key milestone within the recently finalised five-year Strategic Plan for St Luke’s Lodge.
